What if you could give the gift of hearing? It’s easier than you think.

Hearing the Call continues to help people in Guatemala and one woman has someone from Toledo to thank.

This 62-year-old woman had difficulty hearing in her right ear. She has a family history of hearing loss. But thanks to a hearing aid directly from you–she will be able to enjoy the sounds of life. Audiologist Dianna Randolph of Northwest Ohio Hearing Clinic got to share in the moment.

“It was thrilling, there is such a language barrier but the smile people get when they hear, you know, that’s universal, so that’s a universal language. It’s amazing, you know to help somebody,” said Dianna Randolph.

This trip is one of the largest audiology teams to date for the group. They will remain in Guatemala until Saturday. So far they have fit more than 60 hearing aids on people who so desperately need them. It’s never too late for you to help. You can donate to the team, as more mission trips are planned in the very near future.
